Summit Entertainment has just announced (as of November 22, 2008), due to the success of the "Twilight" movie, they will definitely be filming the sequel, "New Moon." Since "Twilight" has been sold out in theaters across the country, I'm going to assume that they will probably go ahead with the plan to make each book into a movie.
Further Reading
The movie version of "Twilight" is going to only cover that book, not the other three in the series. This leaves the door open for the other three to be made at a later date.
There's a lot of buzz out there about the movie coming out next week! If you see it, I hope that you enjoy it!
