Does the government have to much control over public health services?
This is an interesting question and I am sure that you will get many different opinions.
I would that the government has about the right amount of control over public health services. This is not to say that things are perfect, because they are not. I am afraid that if the government has too much power, then the government is just going to be too big. In my opinion, big government is not effective. There will be more waste.
In light of this, the government today is doing as best as they can. Medicad is available. If the government wishes to do more, I would say prevention and education are key points. It is best to start educating people about health issues as early as possible. This can make a big difference.
