I am going to Disneyland for the first time coming up in June. I have read all about it online, but was hoping for some insight into some off the beaten track things to do while I am there. Beaches to visit, restaurants, or other things that I might not know about outside the gates of Disney. Thanks.
Thanks for all of the tips! We just got back from our trip to Anaheim and loved it. I'm from Texas, and can I just say how wonderful the climate in California is? The link about the Downtown Anaheim website was extremely helpful!
Thanks for the heads up on the Farmers Market! I absolutely love to visit them and enjoy all the fresh produce and local flavors that abound in such atmospheres.
To #3, I will be taking my young children and they are VERY excited to make the trip.
I think Disneyland is best at night. There are fewer crows and it is cooler. I also think it is also best with kids. Adults can get more out of it if they see the park through the excitement of childhood. It depends on if you like rides or not.
Disneyland is located in Anaheim, California. Outside of the theme park, downtown Anaheim has a Farmer's Market (open on Thursdays- from noon until 7pm), an art district in the historical area of Anaheim, and a flea market every fourth Sunday at the Center Street Promenade. Have fun! A great site to go to is linked below.
