Discuss responsbilities of a business organization when involved with international organizations.
There are many different responsibilites that a business involved in the international market must be concerned with. The first area is different cultural aspects and expectations. For example, in some countries a businessman would offend others if he touched food with his left hand. In some countries is it is considered respectful to look a person in the eye when you are talking, in other countries it is considered an insult. A businessperson must be aware of cultural behaviors for each of the countries in which he/she does business.
A second area is safety regulations. For example, in this country paint can not have lead in it and children's toys cannot have lead in tham. Recently many toys and children's backpacks were recalled because paint used on them, overseas, included lead.
A third area is economic differences. The business has to be aware of the fluctuations in currency exchange rates. IT also has to be aware of things going on in the other country that could lead to an economic upheaval or instability. For example, an overthrow in government or a collapse in banks in another country could wreck havoc on a business that does business in that country or with contractors in that company.
