Religion has torn apart cultures, communities, and countries. Religion has been celebrated and banned, taught in schools and forbidden, and been accepted and denied. Religion consists of practices, values, morals, and behaviors which the members of the religious community share. Religion, as a cultural form, exists as apiece of the greater whole of a community.

An example of expression in religion is the celebrating of different religious holidays. Christmas is celebrated by Christians, and  Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday. Muslim's pray seven times a day; Christians tend to pray at meals alone.
