Discuss the idea(s) developed by the text creator in your choosen text regarding the way in which individuals struggle to restore honourand certainity? Thank you very much!
This one will be difficult to address because it is not made clear as to what was the text chosen. Since this is absent, it's going to fall on your broad shoulders to provide much in way of answers to the questions posed. The restoration of honor is a very powerful theme. I think the first thing you want to do is to identify what honor is for a few of the characters in your text. How do they define honor in the text? What do they do in defense or support of it? How do they seek to expand it? Detailing and charting this might allow you to see see and then to explore in writing how the notion of honor is developed in the course of your text. The certainty topic is probably even more fascinating. How do the characters in your work view the issue of certainty or of moral absolution? Do they operate in a setting where there is a clear grasp of right and wrong, of just and unjust? Do they operate in a dimension of complexity and moral gray zones, feeding a lack of certainty? I think that this is something to be explored and delved into quite a bit and might be more revealing of your characters, and perhaps even yourself, more than anything else.
