"School origination" refers a point of beginning or authorization of something related to schooling. It may be that specialized educational databases may ask a person signing in to identify their "school origination," in other words, the college or university that authorizes their access to the database. It may be that management of educational loans will require that the student identify the college or university they were attending when the loan originated. This phrase may be seen in several different uses but all require essentially the same information: what college or university authorized or sponsored something the student wants to do or has done.
