Could use feedback from Yearbook Advisers! Hi group - My name is Mike and I run lifepages.com.  Lifepages.com is an online yearbook service (online yearbooks).  I was wondering if the members of this group would be willing to go to our website, read a bit about the features and benefits as well as the frequently asked questions, and give me some feedback on what you think of the idea.  This website has just launched and is landing some big schools.  However, I can never get enough feedback from advisers. Please respond to this thread with your thoughts on the site.  If you would like actual information about the service, contact me via the site, not through this group.  I'd like to use this group as a discussion point for ideas rather than as a sales avenue.  Thank you!

As an old, pre-internet yearbook advisor for my high school, I think you've come up with a very good idea. And your web site is clean, no-nonsense and well written.

Certainly, it would be very advantageous for you to get up a sample lifebook up as soon as you can. People need to see a an example of what you are talking about ASAP.

I would also suggest that you offer schools an archive service. Old yearbooks are a great resource of information and memories. Non-electronic yearbooks could be scanned and offered along with a school's current lifebook. Searching an old book would probably not be feasible, but just seeing old yearbooks from a school would be an amazing experience for possibly thousands of past graduates.

Good luck to you in your new endeavor.
