HELLO, I AM WRITING A RESEARCH PAPER AND I NEED HELP Brainstorming a little to come up with related alternate search terms that may also lead to relevant results for the QUESTION: Should convicted felons have the right to vote? And create a list of these terms. (KEY TERMS TO BRAINSTORM ARE FELONS AND VOTE) THANK YOU.

One suggestion I have for you about finding terms to help with a search is to do a search for terms that you know are relevant. Once you have done that, look at the results you get that look like what you want. Read through those results to see what sorts of terms they tend to use. Then you can search for those terms.

For example, you might do a search for “convicted felons’ right to vote.” You would assume that this would be a good search. Now look at the results and find more terms. Looking at the results, you might see that you could also use the following terms:

Felon voting laws

Felony disenfranchisement

Restoring voting rights

Reenfranchisement

Convict rights

Suffrage

By using those terms, you ought to be able to find a good selection of sources. If you still need more sources, continue to look for good terms in the sources you find useful.
