From the very first meeting between these two, Clarisse holds nothing back.  She is a complete stream of consciousness character as she speaks.  Anything that is on her mind is on her lips, and she most often doesn't wait for an answer, so we are clearly seeing how quickly her mind works.  ADHD?  While she sees a psychiatrist, it's clear she doesn't really think she's in need of help.  Society thinks otherwise, and is trying to condition Clarisse into conformity, to break her spirit, as it were.

She says a lot of stuff about herself.  Do you have a specific place in mind?

The thing that sticks with me most is that she says she's crazy.  I think that she doesn't really mean it.  I think she's saying she's a misfit and she knows it.  That, to me, says that she is an honest person who is also really perceptive and understands what her society is like and understands her own personality.
