Oliver was a poor little boy. He ran away from the undertaker's shop and went to London. He faced a lot of difficulties on the way but he faced them bravely. he was a hard working boy. He did not like beggin for food. He was very happy when Dodger told him he would take him to an old gentleman who will teach him to earn money for himself. He was a quick learner. He learnt quickly the game taught by Fagin. he was an innocent. He did not know what the boys' work was until he saw them stealing the silk handkerchief. He was an honest boy. When he was caught he told the truth that it was the other two boys who stolet the handkerchief.
