The total cost for the car per day as follows:

Total cost per day = cost for daily rental + mileage cost.

 Given that the daily rental is 37

The cost per mile is 20 cents.

Total cost should be within a budget of $95

Let the number of mileage be x.

==> 95 = 37 + 0.20*x

==> Now we will solve for x.

==> 0.2x = 95-37

==> 0.2x = 58

==> x = 58/0.2 = 290

Then the mileage allowed daily is 290 miles per day.

To get the maximum ot of the allowed budget

The total cost per day = Budget

Cost of Rental + Cost per day = Budget

Let "x" be the milage allowed 

0.2x + 37 = 95

0.2x = 95-37

0.2x = 58

x = 48/0.2 = 290

The milage allowed to stay in budget = 290
