Yes, anything you ingest in your body can show up on a drug screen if they are looking for it. If you are around someone and are exposed to second hand smoke, meaning that you inhale the marijuana smoke that someone else exhales this can show up on a drug screen as your lungs have to process the smoke and the chemicals found within marijuana will enter your blood stream.
Drug screens can be through blood, urine, hair or saliva. What they are looking for is THC within your system. It is important to also note that drug screens are not only "pass" or "fail" they also test the levels of a substance within your blood or other body fluids. As they are testing levels of THC the drug test also rates the level of THC within the body and reports this to the individual giving the test. What this means is that typically there is a "cut off point" in which a very low level of THC will result in a negative test result as it could also be accounted for by test error.
If you breath it in, second hand smoke, it can show up as positive. Check with Doctors.
