What is an important quote from Catching Fire?
Catching Fire is about Katniss’s development as a leader. In the second Hunger Games she finds herself in an impossible situation for the second time.
During this Hunger Games she is more tactical. She and the others work together, especially since some of them are old and infirm or mentally out of it. She knows more, but she also has to take care of more than just herself.
I should have never mentioned the clock, I say bitterly. Now they’ve taken that advantage away as well. (p. 36)
Working together is new for Katniss. As one of the youngest and strongest ones there, she is partly responsible for keeping everyone alive. She is strong and a good hunter. Katniss has a lot of responsibility.
