Early childhood education plays an important role in society bi cause it is here that children learn to become functioning members of a group. They learn the basics of reading and number sense. They adapt to a new environment as independent entities, from their parents. Young children thrive on the routine and procedures necessary to a functioning classroom. Early Childhood Education, when done correctly, creates a foundation for developing productive members of society.
