Can we share 5 apples with 6 childrens, so the apples to be cut at most in 3 equal parts ?

Let's start with a number of apples that can easily be divide for six children:  3.  Cut each of those 3 apples in half and give one piece to each of the 6 kids.  With the two apples that are left, cut each of them into three pieces, and give each child one of those six pieces.  Voila!

5 apples times 3 (the 3 equal parts) = 15
15/6 = 2.5

so if the apples can only be cut in thirds, then no.
but otherwise yes. hope it helps :)
