This is a very serious question. Child molestation is one of the worst things a person can do. To take advantage of the helpless is the height of human depravity. When this happens, there are many ramifications. One of the ramification is the difficulty of development of the child, who is molested. In other words, they will have to carry this act of violence and exploitation for the rest of their lives. When this happens they do not develop in the most natural way.

There can be many dysfunctions that can develop. For example, there might be a fear of older people. There might be a fear of sexual relations in the future. There might be a strong feeling of shame, not to mention the embarrassment and anger. From this point of view, we can say that molestation stuns the development of children. To be sure, molested children can live functional lives, but it is made more difficult by this act of violence.
