1) I would like to live under a constitution that left it to the states to support their Representatives and Senators in the Federal government, so those people cannot vote themselves pay-raises and full-retirement benefits after only two years in Congress, and so on.

2) I would like to live under a constitution that allowed the Federal government to directly tax the citizens only for defense and foreign diplomacy, and required all other taxes raised by the Federal government to be by requisition on the states, to put some check on the wanton corruption of Congress.

3) I would like to live under a constitution that has the Federal senators elected by the state governments and one-state, one-vote in the senate, like under the Articles of Confederation.

4) I would like to live under a constitution that has the Federal Representatives apportioned among the states according to the taxes paid to the Federal government from the states, and has the electors for Representatives vote a weighted vote according to how much Federal tax the elector has paid since the last election, and has Representatives elected at large within each state so that more political view points could be elected to Congress than just the Republicrats and Demoplicans that are elected under the present system.

5) I can think of more, but this will do for now.

Ten things to do before I die:

1)  Go back to school and get my teacher's certification.  I only have my Associate's right now.

2)  Master the Spanish language.  Maybe I will major in ESL when I go back to school.

3)  Visit England, Ireland, and Scotland.  My ancestors came from there.

4)  Go to Hawaii.  I've always wanted to see it.

5)  Go see Banff Park in Canada.  I've always wanted to see it.

6)  Master the art of making pie crust.  Mine leaves much to be desired.

7)  Live long enough to see my grandchildren grow up, get married, and have their own children.

8)  Get completely out of debt.  I owe it to the people I owe money to!

9)  Lose 40 pounds and keep it off!  Why?  Because I feel fat!

10)  Do right by others so that I can have a conscience free and clear when I go.

It is hard to narrow this down to ten as there are so many things that I would like to do before I die. I believe that family is very important so most of them will probably center around that.

1.  I would like to travel, with my family of course.

2.  I would like to learn how to ballroom dance.

3.  I would like to learn how to manage stress more effectively.

4.  I love to scrapbook. In doing so preserves family memories so I would like to take scrapbooking classes.

5. Geology interests me a lot so I would go back to school and get a degree in geology.

6. I would like to meet the Pope.

7. I would like to see my children grow up healthy, happy, and strong.

Ah, the old Bucket List. I'm not sure I can come up with ten good ideas, but I'll be happy to give you a few. Most of them are travel-related, since I love to visit new places around the world.

1.  Become financially secure. I really don't want to have to work up until the day I die, so hopefully the perfect job (or a winning lottery ticket) will soon appear.
2.  Visit Australia and New Zealand. They seem like fantastic places.
3.  Re-unite with several old college friends who have seemingly dropped off the face of the earth.
4.  Live, for at least a short while, in Europe. I love Holland and Germany in particular.
5.  Have a successful song or book published.

Obviously, this is going to be a personal sort of thing, but maybe seeing what we say can help you with your own ideas:

  1. Become fluent in Japanese.  I love to learn languages and I'm pretty good at this one, but I'd like to be fluent.
  2. See my children with happy families when they are adults.  This should have been first, but I'm not sure it's really my doing.
  3. Learn how to build things like cabinets.  It would be nice to have a hobby in which I can create things that would be useful.
  4. Be able to keep my mental faculties until I die.

That's all for me, which makes me happy because it implies I am happy with my life.

You've requested a list of 10 wishes, but, I think, you'd be more interested in the result of choosing, meaning the 10 most important wishes in everyone's life.

You could read billions and billions of wishes, more or less interesting and unsuspected, resulted from the complex human nature.

With patience, you can find a common denominator:

-Desire of perpetuating the human species and cohabitation with peers;

-Desire of self improvement;

-Evolving desire, and so on.

I'll do one thing for sure before dying that I've not done yet. at least I think so; I'll prove myself. Another thing is that I'll thank my mother and apologise to her for all the odds I've done with her, and then thank my father and sister. Lastly, I'll pray to God.

I do not have a list to offer. But there is a different perspective on this subject which I would like to share with others.

A list of this kind has to be something very personal and subjectives. There are no right or wrong answers. But I was just wondering shouldn't these ten things or even one such thing should be related to the basic purpose of life. I was wondering if there is a wish list, which when fulfilled, will make life after that meaningless. For example, is purpose of my life is to "have a family of my own" so that feel I need to nothing more in that direction. Or is the purpose to "enjoy life with my family". If this is the objective there is no logical end to this enjoyment, and there is no complete fulfilment of life's purpose.
