I will be happy to provide you with a short biography along with several links listed below to help you on your way.

A Parsi educator and statesman, Dadabhai Naoroji (1825-1917) continues to be remembered as the "Grand Old Man of India." He was the first Asian to become a Member of Parliament, serving in the British House of Commons from 1892-1895. He was a co-founder of the Indian National Congress, and his book, Poverty and Un-British Rule in India, focused on India's loss of wealth to Great Britain. He formed the first Indian company to be established in England in 1855, and later began his own company, Naoroji & Co., specializing in the trade of cotton. He became a professor at University College in London and served as Prime Minister of Baroda in 1874. He was a mentor of Mohandas Gandhi.
