The mass of a proton is equal to `1.673*10^-24` g and the mas of an electron is equal to `9.11*10^-28` g.

One kilogram is `10^3` g or `X` g is `X*10^-3` kg.

This gives the difference between the two masses is `1.673*10^-24 - 9.11*10^-28` = `1.672*10^-24` g = `1.672*10^-27` kg

The difference between the mass of an electron and a proton is equal to 1.672*10^-27 kg
