I am not sure of the impact on the radiation's impact.  Indeed, sitting in front of a computer for an extended period of time a day and doing this repetitively can have impacts on people's lives.  Carpal Tunnel Syndrome can result from the repetitive clicking and dragging with the mouse and, if left unchecked, can be quite disastrous in needing significant medical attention.  Certainly, back problems result from sitting in one place and staring at the computers. Research has indicated that a lack of activity causes significant body issues, including the shrinking of deep muscles.   The lack of muscular activity causes these muscles to become useless, causing more challenges for the body.  Additionally, obesity and a lack of activity can also impact one's health.  From a psychological point of view, depression, stress, and mental fatigue can result from sitting in front of a computer and a cubicle- like existence.  While some would disparage such claims as the idea of sitting in a comfortable chair and not having to endure physical stress might make a computer desk job purely desirable, there is enough evidence to suggest that "the office" can present some challenging elements to one's health.
