I am writing an essay on the effects of fast food on the human body. I am having trouble putting all the facts into paragraphs. All the things eating fast food causes (heart disease, weight gain, bad eating habits, etc.) are all happening because of the same reason, how bad the food is. I am really struggling with putting this into paragraphs.

After your opening paragraph, which would include your thesis statement, add a paragraph defining what you mean by "bad" in terms of fast food. Is it bad because it has a high amount of fat and sugar? Is it also bad because it has been engineered to be addictive in the sense that its taste makes people want more, crowding out healthier food? Is it bad in that it is too easy to go through that drive-through window and supersize your meal so that you consume too many calories too quickly?

Once you have established your definition, you would then devote a paragraph or two to each of the points you mention above: heart disease, weight gain, and the formation of bad eating habits. You might focus the paragraph on heart disease on the actual content of the food, such as its high fat content; focus the paragraph on weight gain on a combination of food content (too much sugar, perhaps) and the way the taste of the food is engineered to be addictive; and focus the third point both on how the food is delivered and engineered. Each section (paragraph) would illustrate how and why the food is bad. This method of organization, called definition and exemplification, is classic and effective. Don't forget to end with a summary paragraph!

It seems to me that clarity and identifying what needs to be argued would help in this particular instance.  You might need to reflect on your three strongest points or effects on fast food on the body.  Determining these ideas would allow you to devote a paragraph to each particular effect.  This might give you the structure needed to approach writing your paper.  Additionally, it will allow you to select your best and most essential effects of fast food on the body.  This process of refining and selection will enable you to make the facts and evidence that you have effective and streamline your paper to make it have more structure and greater focus.

Fast food is term used for ready to serve food sold by restaurants shops and other establishments that specialize in serving the food quickly. Also frequently the food outlet forms a self service format as compared to table service in regular full service restaurants. Also the fast food is often served in a packaged form that permits taking away or taking out the food and eating it at  places like park benches or in cars. People also eat such food while travelling in vehicles or even walking.

The system of fast food is prevalent in all countries , with each country having its own variations of types of items served and the nature of establishments serving. The popularity of fast food is partly due to convenience of fast service, packaged food and  low cost. The fast food establishment are typically dependent on business policy of low price and high volume. Therefore, in general fast food work out to be cheaper.

Fast food as defined and described above need not necessarily be bad for health. Unfortunately, the typical kind of fast food popular in countries like USA, combined with general trend of people eating a lot of such food has created some kind of general health problems. The fast food items are frequently selected by fast food companies on the basis of their taste with little concern for providing nutrition. Perhaps this approach is also common to the full service restaurants. But since the total combined quantity of food eaten by all the people of a community is much less than that in full service restaurants, the potential of full service restaurants to create health problems is also less.

Thus it is evident that health problem caused by fast food is not just a problem of quality of food but also by living styles and habits of people. A solution to this problem needs to address these lifestyle issues also.
