I am trying to locate a set of instruction or some other technical document that is hard to follow. Then identify what specifically makes the document difficult to use providing a specific reference for each problem area.

I have attached a set of PDF instructions for the installation of a Smittybuilt SRC offroad rear bumper with tire carrier for a 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ. I just did the install last month on my Jeep. The instructions sent with the bumper were not in color as this PDF is. I can wholeheartedly say with zero doubt that those instructions are awful. They look clear enough, but once a person begins the install, they will quickly find out that the instructions are terrible. I'll give you some direction. Notice the parts list is all identified as metric. Well the hardware that came with the bumper was a mixture of metric and standard. There were also 6 bolts included that the instructions never mentioned using. I figured out where four of them were intended to go. Figure 6 is a nice pic/diagram. It clearly shows the bolts in the install location. Notice there is not a picture of the bumper in place with bolt locations. The bumper itself is drilled in several places in order to make sure it works with multiple years of wranglers. But there is no explanation given for which holes work on which years. In fact there is no picture of the finished full install either.
