I am writing a paragraph on goals.  Can you give me a topic sentence that has both a "topic " word (which is a goal) and an "action" word?

 

ex: As one goes through life, there are number of goals one may wish to pursue.

*the topic word is goals

*the action words is pursue

You appear to be looking for a simple topic sentence, which is easy enough to do based on your example.  Because a topic sentence is part of something greater or bigger, though, it's important that the topic sentence matches whatever you're planning to focus on in the rest of the paragraph, essay, or whatever. 

From your question, this is a simple paragraph on goals; I assume you're discussing such things as the importance of goals, the need for goals, or even the consequences of not having or setting goals.  Here are several ideas to get you started:

Dreams are easier to achieve if one sets smaller goals along the way.

One will not experience great success without setting goals.

Great things happen when goals are set.
