Density is the ratio of mass to the volume of a body, thus in current case:

Mass = 200.0 gm

Volume = 50 cm^3

Density = mass/volume = 200.0/50 = 4 g/cm^3

In case of multiplication or division, the answer will have the same number of significant figures as the number with least number of significant figures.

Here, among the mass and volume, volume has the least number of significant figures, i.e. 1 and hence density will also have only 1 significant figure.

Thus the answer will be reported as, density = 4 gm/cm^3.
