I would agree completely with music having long term staying power. In addition, I would add fashion. African American athletes, musicians, and film/ tv stars will continue to be a driving force in the fashion industry for years to come as they are often emulated by the youth of our country and the world.
I suppose the most obvious aspects would be music and food. I think music will survive because "black" music has become mainstream and there will be no pressure to move away from it. I think that food is a private matter and so there is little pressure on people (from outsiders) to stop eating particular kinds of foods.
