According to Islamic perspective, GOD is Eternal and above our imagination, so is it evident that this is something that we can't imagine we can't learn about or understand ?

In most religions, there is the idea that God is too large a concept to be understood. This is why we say that "this is God's plan.". We assume we don't know what the bigger picture is.

I'm not Muslim, but the same perspective holds for many Christians.

Christians who have that same view of God typically say that we cannot understand God with our reason and our senses.  All we can really do is two things.

We can try to feel an emotional connection to God and gain some understanding in that way.

We can simply accept what God tells us (through scripture or perhaps through more direct means like sending us feelings that tell us what we should do) and do that regardless of whether we understand.

So we can and should do our best to understand what God has said to us.  But we must not reject what God has said just because it does not make sense to us.
