Health care is the overall management of health services that can be provided for humans. This includes the diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, consultation, prevention and information dissemination to people. Health care is provided by medical people specialized to do certain clinical works such as doctors, nurses, pharmacists and others.
Managers in health care sector are also the one who supervise the people under his/her authority. There may be some variances since health care setting is different from other types of institutional settings. A health care manager should be knowledgeable about the health care the office is offering. He or she should be able to manage plan, direct, command and coordinate medical, clinical and health services. He or she should be able to supervise the entire work throughout the working hours.
