`9xx8`

Take note that multiplication is a shorthand way of writing repeated addition.

If we have M * N, it means that we are adding the number N by itself M times.

`MxxN = N+N+N+N+N+...+N`

So for our problem, we would have:

`9 xx8 = 8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8=72`

Therefore,  `9 xx 8 = 72` .

What is 9 times 8?

`9*8`

means to add 9 eights together

`8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8`

This is equal to:

`8+8=16+8=24+8=32+8=40+8=48+8=56+8=64+8=72`

Solution: 9 times 8 equals 72!

9*8=72

If you add 9 eight times it equals 72.

9+9+9+9+9+9+9+9= 72

If you add 8 nine time it equals 72.

8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8=72

think of 9 times 8 as adding 9 eight times, or adding 8 nine times.

9 x 8=

9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 = 72

or

8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8=72

9 multiplied by 8 is basically just 9 being added together 8 times or 8 being added together 9 times.

9*8 = 9+9+9+9+9+9+9+9 = 72

or

9*8 = 8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8 = 72

The commutative property in math allows you to do it either way and get the same answer.

Question:

9 times 8

9 x 8

Solution:

This is a problem in multiplication is required. Basically it means to multiply 9 number 8 times, like this;

9 x 8 times;

9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 (basically 9 is used 8 times)

= 72

In simple words, learn the table of 9, then you wont have to perform all this calculation. Its simple because all of them are connected like;

9 x 8 = 72

or

8 x 9 =72

So whether we multiply 9 with 8 or 8 with 9, the answer will be same. Hope i am able to make you understand. If you want further explanation you can message me thanks.

Multiplication is just a short way of adding values repeatedly.

9*8 = 72

9 times 8

the word times can be interpreted as how many times a number is added. In this case i.e. 9 times 8, 9 will be added 8 times or 8 will be added 9 times.

8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8 = 72

9+9+9+9+9+9+9+9     = 72

9 times 8 equals 72.

You can solve this by adding 9 to itself 8 times, or by adding 8 to itself 9 times.

9+9+9+9+9+9+9+9= Adding 9 to itself 8 times

8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8= Adding 8 to itself 9 times

Both of these ways will equal 72.

9 times 8 is the same thing as adding 9 eight times

9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9

So the total is 72

Multiplication is basically adding the same number repetitively.

9 times 8 is also the same as 8 times 9

9 times 8 means adding 9, 8 times, in equation, it should look like

9 * 8 = 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 = 72

8 times nine would be the same, but this time it's 9 repetitions of 8:

8 * 9 = 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 = 72

Eight times nine is equal to seventy-two.

9•8= 72

There's two ways to find out this problem:

9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 = 72

8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 +8 + 8 +8  = 72

An equation to think about is, there's eight packs of gummy worms each containing 9 in them. How much gummy worms will you get if you mix them all up?

You can add 8 9 times or you can add 9 8 times.when you multiply 2 numbers, it does not matter what order they are in.

9 times 8 is 72

9*8=8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8=72

or 9+9+9+9+9+9+9+9=72

because multiplying is just adding a number to itself repeatedly.

9 X 8 = 72

9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 = 72

or

8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 = 72

basically you're just adding 9 eight times or just adding 8 nine times.

9 x 8 is basically saying that 9 is added 8 times.

`9+9+9+9+9+9+9+9`

  1. Another way you can look at this is 8x9, which means 8 is added 9 times: `8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8`
  2. Or, you can draw 9 rows with 8 columns in each row. And count them!
  3. Or even, draw 8 rows with 9 columns in each row (noting 8x9). And count them.

Even if you decide to count them or draw them, your final answer should still be `72!`

`9 times 8= 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9`

`<br>`

9 times 8 is basically adding 9 eight times (shown above)

or

because 9 times 8 is the same as 9 times 8   ---> `9 * 8= 8 *9`

it can also be 8 being added 9 times

shown as

`8 times 9= 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 +8`

so it equals 72

9 x 8 = 72

Think of this as either 9 groups of 8; 8x8x8x8x8x8x8x8x8

or 8 groups of 9 9x9x9x9x9x9x9x9

Then you would get the answer of 72. But it would be easier to memorize the times table because one it isn't that hard and two you can access it as soon as you see a problem like this

Multiplication is repetitive addition.

9 times 8

is the same as adding 9 eight times:

9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9

This will get you the answer 72.

On a side note, you really should just memorize these facts instead of repeatedly adding numbers.
