the slope (m) of the line that passes through the points `(x_1 , y_1) and (x_2 , y_2)` is   given as

`m = (y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)`

so , now here

`(x_1 , y_1) = (7/8)`

`(x_2 , y_2) = (1,8)`

so slope `m =(y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)`

                 `= (8-8)/(1-7) = 0`  is the slope
