2/(9s) = -6

so first multiply both sides by 9s

2=-54x           then divide 2 by -54

so your answer is -.037 repeating

if your question was this (2/9)s = -6 then multiply both sides by 9

so you have 2s=-54 so then divide by 2

so S=-27

2/9s = -6

To solve this equation , first multiply 9 on both sides

By multiplying, your equation should look like

2s = -54 now divide both sides by s

By dividing both sides by 2 , your equation should look like

s = -27 which is your answer

2/9s = -6

you can solve it as llltkl showed above, and you can also do it in another way, which would be:

dividing by 2 first to get rid of the 2:

(2/9s) /2 = -6 /2

1/9x = -3

multiply by 9

x = -27

Given:

`2/9s = -6 `

Multiply both sides of the equation with 9 to get,

`2s=-54`

Divide both sides of the equation by 2 to isolate s as:

`s=-27`

=> answer.
