What is 15 + -10 equal to?

15 + - 10 = 5 Answer.

If you're confused because of the signs then all you have to do is keep these pointers in mind:

Addition / Subtraction:

  • 2 same signs result in addition i.e.   - - = + ,   + + = + .
  • 2 different signs result in subtraction i.e.  - + = -,  + - = - , sign of the bigger number is taken.

Division / Multiplication:

  • When signs are different the minus sign is taken i.e. -*+ = -, -*+=-.
  • When signs are same the plus sign is taken i.e. +*+=+, -*-=+.

to tihink of it simply, lets say you have 15 dollars, but you owe your friend 10 dollars, how much would you have left?

5! this is the same thing 15-10= 5
