I just started a free trial, so why do I see a charge on my credit card?

You are not charged until your subscription automatically converts after 48 hours. However, a pending authorization of the trial amount will be put on hold to guarantee funds are available. You may see "pending" or "authorized" on your credit card statement, but please note that this is not a charge for your free trial period.

If you cancel before the end of your free trial, the pending amount will be dropped and the funds will no longer be on hold.

Please note: depending on your credit card company, it may take between 1-3 business days after you cancel your trial for the authorization to disappear.
