I have no idea what the general consensus is on a DVD yearbook. I do know at my junior high, where I was an adviser, it did not go over well. Not that we did one, we didn't. The kids voted not to do one. I did see several that other schools in my district did and I was not impressed. There were supposed to be extra pictures and such but I did not find them. It was very hard to navigate them as well. I am sure the technology in just the last three years has advanced them but my only real problem with them is that some day they will be outdated. Between the ease of damaging a DVD and whether DVD will go the way of VHS tapes before them, they don't seem practical. Not to mention, I don't know about your campus, but on my campus it was hard enough to pull of finishing the yearbook on time, much less adding a DVD to the mix.
