    I would say that almost all of Yale's department are incredible, but their history department always ranks number 1. The classes are always great and the professors are incredible. Yale's english department always ranks very high. With that said, you really cannot go wrong in any department. Another thing that might help is to note that in some of the smaller department, you can get amazing personal attention. It really does feel that you are attending a small liberal arts college. For example, in the classics department you will have the opportunity to be in seminars with no more than 10 people. In some classes you may have 5 people. The access you get is amazing. Good luck!
