I would say that Yale leans towards the left. Most people on campus are probably democrats. However, the professors are open to different views as well as the student body. One of the great things about places, like Yale, is that diversity of beliefs is prized. Also there are a number of foreign students, which makes for even more diverse views. The recreational life at Yale is amazing. Yale has one of the largest gyms in America, if not the world. You will have access to almost any sport. Their intramural sports leagues are great as well.
