Great questions. 1. Classes range, like in other colleges. Some classes are large with over 100 people and other classes are smaller with less than 20 people. So, it really depends on what class you are talking about. In terms of academic difficulty, I would say it is challenging for the most part. But if you do the work, you should do well. There is always help available, such as writing centers and graduate students. 2. The professors are pretty accessible, in my opinion. Even in these big lectures, professor teach and not graduate students. Moreover, they are more than open to meeting students. However, I would say that you need to make the initiative. 3. Like I stated in (1), classes are challenging. You won't do well by just resting on your high school learning. Everyone at Yale is smart and did extremely well in high school or graduate school. So, diligent study is a must. Posted by readerofbooks on Nov 10, 2009. |
