   1. The first blunder that Lockwood commits in Chapter 2 is to set out from Thrushcross Grange to Wuthering Heights in such awfullly bad weather.  As soon as he arrives at Wuthering Heights it begins to snow and the younger Catherine remarks, "you should not have come out."

   2. He is confused at Hareton Earnshaw's outward appearance and does not know what to make of it. He is not sure whether Hareton is a servant or a member of the household.

   3. Lockwood mistakes the dead rabbits on the cushion to be the pet cats of the younger Catherine.

   4. He mistakes the younger Catherine to be the wife of Heathcliff.

   5. When Heathcliff corrects him by saying that she is his daughter in law, he blunders again by thinking that she is Hareton's wife.

   6. Finally, when Lockwood is turned out of Wuthering Heights and is compelled to return to Thrushcross Grange in the dark snowy evening he makes the mistake of taking Joseph's lantern without his permisssion.  Joseph immediately turns the dogs loose on him with bloody consequences.
