Posted by michael336 on Friday January 2, 2009 at 4:32 PMMeg has learned the power of being unique. While she has felt like a misfit, she has learned that she is not alone in her uniqueness. She becomes more self-accepting, as she has readily accepted the uniqueness of Charles Wallace and Calvin.
Also, Meg has learned that her faults are simply strengths in the wrong context. It is through her impatience that she reaches through the power of IT to both her father and Charles Wallace. She learns how to appropriately channel her "faults" to achieve good over evil.
Finally, Meg has learned the immense power of love in overcoming evil. It is not through the head but through the heart that she breaks the power of IT over Charles Wallace. This frees her to love more deeply and less self-consciously.
