Dorothy Gale, a lonely orphan girl who lives with her Uncle Henry and Aunt Em in Kansas, is swept away from her dull surroundings to the exciting fantasy world of Oz. Dorothy, accompanied by her pet dog Toto, bravely undertakes a journey of selfdiscovery as she wanders through fantastical settings and meets bizarre characters who guide her to the Emerald City in her quest to return home.
