Xochipilli
Xochipilli AmericaThe Aztec god of flowers and lord of souls. Four years after their deaths, according to the Aztecs of ancient Mexico, the souls of warriors became richly plumed birds. As the god of flowers, red-faced Xochipilli was the personification of the spirit, the flayed flesh of his portraits representing his indifference to material forms.
