Oi

Oi America
According to the tribes living along the Xingu River in Brazil, the remote past belonged to such legendary nations as the Oi, who were very tall and had a curious habit of singing in chorus as they walked. Since the Oi have disappeared only in recent times, the Indian peoples have remembered their chant and can still intone it today. Another mythical nation was the Minata-Karaia, whose men had a hole in the top of their heads that produced a high, loud whistle. They also had bunches of coconuts growing from under their armpits; these fruits they snatched, broke against their heads, and ate.
