Ictinike AmericaThe deceitful son of the sun god in the mythology of the Iowa, a principal Sioux tribe. From Ictinike many of the Indian peoples learned their war customs, and for this reason he is sometimes looked upon as a war god. In the tales of his adventures the dominant themes are treachery and deceit.
