A huge ogre. According to the Shoshoneans, a relatively primitive people of Nevada and Utah, Dzoavits stole the Dove's two children. Although Eagle and Crane assisted Dove in their recovery, the monster pursued them so closely that they had to hide in one of Weasel's holes. Even then Dzoavits would have found the fugitives had not Badger intervened. When the huge ogre asked Badger where Dove and her children were concealed, he directed him into a specially prepared hole, threw hot rocks in on him, and plugged the hole with a stone.
