Answers:

  1. Dexter is a prime example of the Freedom of an American, although he only works as a caddy for pocket money, he dreams about besting better players on the course, or dazzling them. He has a vision for what he wants his life to be. When you look at his life later, he has accomplished his goals of attending a prestigious university, and works hard to become successful at 27. He works hard to fit in among the successful, because that was his goal, that's where he saw his life. Dexter had a dream of a "perfect life", and he succeeded through his personal conviction. To be able to rise up from poverty and become anything you want is a prime example of American freedom.
