William Inge was fundamentally a dramatist. Atlantic/Little, Brown published two of his novels, Good Luck, Miss Wyckoff (1970) and My Son Is a Splendid Driver (1971). Bantam published his earlier scenario for Splendor in the Grass (1961). The manuscript of his final novel, “The Boy from the Circus,” was found on a table in his living room after his suicide.
