There is no one person who is telling the story in When Legends Die. Instead, the story is told by an omniscient narrator, which allows the reader to see what is taking place from the viewpoint of several different characters. The narration is simple and straightforward, told mostly in chronological time order, and consists largely of descriptions of actions that take place. The use of an omniscient narrator in this manner gives the reader the advantage of experiencing a wide view and hearing varied opinions on what is happening, but offers little depth into concepts or characters. The reader is left to draw his or her own conclusions about what has transpired.
