Tips to Succeed at Wheaton

  • Get to know your professors, and when you find one that you like, stick with them.

  • Double check everything your advisor tells you because it may not always be right.

  • Get as involved as possible in clubs, organizations, or on-campus jobs.

  • Make sure the professor of a class is right for you before taking it—you can read comments made by fellow students about your professor on Blackboard.

  • If your rooming situation sucks, just move! A weekend of moving across campus will be well worth avoiding misery.

  • Go to class every day, even if you do not take notes, you will pass.

  • Research your professors before choosing your classes.

  • Be very organized and make a schedule.

  • Don't ever fall behind.

  • Check your e-mail religiously.
