School Spirit

Though students may complain a lot, deep down there is a very dedicated aspect to our school spirit. People will complain ruthlessly about the 10-minute walk to freshman parking, but then turn around and say they wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Those that find they don't like the small-campus feel of Wheaton usually leave within the first year, so those that remain are generally very happy with the school. Students proudly sport all sorts of clothing with the Wheaton name, and though our sports teams aren't a huge force on campus, students still turn out to support their friends. Though the mutterings against Wheaton may get more vicious during finals time, the overall sense of community is what holds the campus together in the end.
