Sallust
Sallust (full name Gaius Sallustius Crispus ) ( 86 – 35 BC )Roman historian and politician. As a historian he was concerned with the political decline of Rome after the fall of Carthage in 146 BC , to which he accorded a simultaneous moral decline. His chief surviving works deal with the Catiline conspiracy and the Jugurthine War.
